Lassen County Fishing is Good
May 23, 1930

Anglers from various sections of Lassen county reported general success from week-end fishing excursions.

Ideal weather and fishing conditions, the first since the opening of the present season, prevailed throughout the county Saturday, Sunday and Monday and many large catches were reported.

H. Lindner of Susanville hauled in the largest of the season to date Sunday from the depths of Lake Almanor. The Lindner catch, running to the lawful limit, included one denizen of the deep which toppled the scales at more than nine pounds.

Various other large catches were reported.
