Long-time Lassen math instructor and coach Dave Foster was honored Tuesday in ceremonies held on the campus at Lassen College.
The math/science building was renamed the “David W. Foster Center for Math and Science.”
Former student Steve Jackson introduced Foster as the man who gave him an occasion to flourish in the community college system, leading to opportunities he never dreamed possible.
LCC Board President Sophie Wages and Lassen Foundation President Mike O’Kelly unveiled the new sign that decorates the south face of the building.
