Lassen Family Service’s 9th annual Walk-A-Mile event, a mile-long color walk through mid-town Susanville to support survivors of sexual assault and child abuse, will be held Saturday, April 30th in Memorial Park.
LFS hosts the event annually at the end of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week to make the community aware of the prevalence of these crimes and to provide information on the support services offered in Lassen County.
Activities will be held in the park from 10:00a.m., and 2:00p.m.

Walk A Mile Shirts are Now Available
Cross Freedom is selling official T-Shirts for this year’s Walk A Mile event. The shirts come in a variety of colors and have the Walk A Mile logo on them.
Click here and follow the link to order your shirt. Each shirt purchased donates to the event. Orders must be placed by April 20th, and will be ready to pick up April 28th and 29th.
At checkout, the site may tell you t-shirts will be delivered by May 9th, please disregard this. T-shirts will be here before the event if ordered before April 20th.
