Tom Dwayne Arend was born May 13, 1944 in Bellflower, California to Bertie (Bernadette)and Manuel Mendes. He passed away on September 28, 2022, with four of his sons by his side.
He is survived by sons, Tommy D Mendes of Nyssa Oregon, Jesse Arend of Temecula California, Davy Arend of San Clemente California, Jason Backer of Las Vegas Nevada, Justin Thomas of Sparks Nevada and Joey and Jamie Thomas of Iowa. And also survived by his sister Linda S Larson, brother-in-law Johnny Larson of Janesville California, brother Michael Hilton and sister-in-law Kathy Hilton. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
