The Susanville office of the California Highway Patrol announced yesterday that the Dixie Fire road closure on State Route 36 between Westwood and Susanville will be lifted in Lassen County at 7:00 this morning.
The highway had been closed between the junction of State Route 44 and County Road A-21 for several weeks during the fire.
According to CHP Public Information Officer Bruce Thuelchassaigne, traffic control measures and a pilot car will be in place through road construction over Fredonyer Summit.
