Wanda Fae Tillman Pipkins
Wanda Fae Tillman Pipkins age 91 passed away in Roseville Ca October 5, 2021, with her children by her side
Wanda was born February 24, 1930, in Graysonia, Arkansas to the late Alvis Fay and Lillie Mae Tillman. On February 16, 1945, she married Lester Dale Pipkins who preceded her in death on October 6, 1988. Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Alvis (Red) Fred Tillman, and George (Bud) Prince Tillman; her sisters Mary (Babe) Ann Burbidge, and Lois Jane Tillman.
Wanda is survived by her children Janice Nickeson and Husband Doug Sell, Danny Pipkins and wife Lori, Jimmy Pipkins and wife Val, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren. Granny’s legacy of being kind, loving, gentle, joyful, and most importantly her example of loving The Lord will live through all of them.
Granny, as we all know her by was committed to her family and making sure they always knew of her love for them. Granny loved The Lord with all her heart and soul. Granny will be greatly missed but not forgotten. We were blessed to have her in our lives for so many years.
We will be having a chapel service for Wanda at 11:30am on October 23, 2021, at Waltons Colonial Chapel 115 South Lassen St. Susanville, CA. Burial will follow where Wanda will be laid to rest next to her husband at Diamond Crest Cemetery Susanville CA. in the Veteran’s section. Reception following at Lassen Senior Center at 1700 Sunkist Dr. Susanville, Ca.
