Rose Mary Poteet a long time Susanville resident, passed away at the age of 89 years. She was born August 6, 1933 to John and Vera Avila and passed January 24, 2023. She was a loving wife in the arms of her beloved husband, Robert Poteet for 67 years!
She was the mother of three daughters, Jocelyn, Jeanine, and Stephanie. She was the eldest of six siblings and loved her family dearly! She worked at Lassen High School for many years and enjoyed the students and staff and made a difference to many who knew her! She always tried to make the best of her days!
She will be missed deeply and remembered always! She joins her ancestors, her parents, her brother, her daughter, her granddaughter, and many friends. She leaves behind her husband, two daughters, a son-in-law, grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Enjoy the other side of the rainbow!
