The Susanville Indian Rancheria honored eight 2023 graduates at a special ceremony held last Thursday in the Willow Room at the Diamond Mountain Casino and Hotel, for friends, families, community and tribal leaders.
Speakers included Tribal Chairman Arian Hart, Education Program Manager Amy Langslet and Tribal Secretary/Treasurer Christi Choo.
Each graduate received a beautiful handmade stole and a special shadowbox commemorating their graduations.
This year’s graduates are Dylan Edgarlee Amador, Osvaldo Valentin Cayetano-Miller, Wyatt Wallace Clements, Ruby Edwina Amayeta Escatel-Miller, Ryleigh Grace Hart, Erik Leonard Nez, Abigail Cameron Robles and Benjamin James Wheeler.
