In the past ten years, the Northern California Cancer Advocates has given direct contributions of support to more than 300 cancer fighters in Lassen and Plumas counties totaling more than $300,000. This has largely been accomplished through your continued support of the annual golf tournament.
This year’s tournament on September 2nd is already filled with golfers, but there are many more ways you can help support our cause. For $250 a business, family, or individual can sponsor a flag at a specific hole. Any logo or message can be printed on the flag. These are selling fast, so email [email protected] to reserve yours today.
You may also honor a cancer fighter with a $100 yard sign posted around the course. These can contain a message of support or in memory of, personalized with a name of your choice.
Our famous raffle also generates a great deal of income. We are known for having some of the best raffle gifts in Lassen County, from Traeger grills to custom cornhole boards to huge baskets filled with hundreds of dollars of products and gift cards. We are asking for donations of any kind for the raffle.
Or maybe you want to take a chance at winning one these fabulous prizes! Come out to the golf course on Saturday September 2nd, 8:00-3:00 to buy tickets and have lunch. We will be grilling up our delicious chorizo sandwiches, with chips and a drink for $10.
Chances are you know someone who is battling cancer right now. Just last week, we received three applications from local people asking for assistance. Our organization is here to provide financial assistance and emotional support to your friends, family members, and neighbors in Lassen County. We can’t do it without you.
