The Lassen County Fairgrounds shines each holiday season with light displays built by local schools and organizations, which are lit up each weekend throughout the month of December, and you can be part of the fun!
Displays can be set up anytime between 8:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. up until December 7th and you will need lights, extensions cords and any other items necessary for your display.
The nice folks at the fair office will give you a map and show you where to set up.
All during the holiday season the fairgrounds will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings for holiday revelers to drive through and admire the light displays.
It’s a great way to have a little fun while participating in a true Lassen County tradition.
If you are a club or organization click here to download a light display application. Click here if you are a representing a school that would like to participate. Deadline to submit the applications is today, November 30th, at 5:00p.m. at the the fair office on Russell Avenue.
Festival of Lights opens on December 8th and runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Gates are open 5:00 – 9:00p.m.
Gates will be open Friday, December 22nd through the following Monday, December 25th.
