Lassennews.com will be hosting a forum for local candidates at 6:00p.m., on January 29th in Jensen Hall at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.
All local candidates up for election in the March 5th, Presidential Primary Election have been invited to attend according to Sam Williams, lassennews publisher, who will serve as the moderator for the event.
Williams said he plans to ask four or five questions for each candidate to answer.
He also seeks questions from the public that can be addressed to all candidates for a particular office — Susanville City Council, Lassen County Board of Supervisors and Lassen County Superior Court Judge.
Residents may submit questions for consideration by emailing [email protected] or filling out a question card at Jensen Hall the night of the event.
Williams said he expects the forum to last two to two and a half hours and that candidates will make some time to meet with residents after the forum’s conclusion. Free refreshments also will be served.
