Summer time is right around the corner and Aspen is an active girl ready to join you on all your planned adventures! Day at the lake? Aspen will be there. Hiking trip planned? Aspen says ‘yes, please’!
This sweet, petite lady arrived at the Lassen County Animal Shelter as a stray. Her history is unknown to staff, however she’s proven to be incredibly outgoing, athletic, and always ready to make new doggy friends. Aspen has energy galore, so potential adopters should be very ready to help Aspen exhaust that energy through appropriate outlets. When she’s been able to get her zoomies out, Aspen settles and gives her handler her attention. She has tons of potential and will make a wonderful companion.
Aspen is estimated to be about 5 months old, UTD on vaccinations, and recently spayed. If interested in meeting Aspen, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please call staff at 530.257.9200. As always, if there are other dogs already in the potential new home, please bring them along for a meet and greet to ensure all dogs get along.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
Current shelter hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 530.257.9200.
