Former Susanville Boy May Go To Europe
March 19, 1921

Former Susanville resident E. M. Asher, son of Morris Asher, and the personal representative of the famous picture producer Mack Sennett, has left Los Angeles for New York, where he will resume his activities on behalf of the picture products.

With the opening of the European market, beckoning America producers, Mr. Sennett says that it is very likely that he will send Mr. Asher to England, France and Belgium within the next six months to establish market contact with those counties, which now he serves only thorough the medium of unrelated agencies.

Another important mission that awaits Mr. (Ephie) Asher in the East is connected with the staging of the Mack Sennett Revue, which, it is expected, will cause even Broadway to gasp with astonishment when the production is offered in Gotham sometime this spring.

Our Susanville boy seems to be “making good.”
