The Lassen County community showed incredible support for this year’s Sober Graduation event by coming together for the Superintendent on the Lift fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, families, and individuals, an impressive $7,653.60 was raised to help keep Sober Graduation completely free for all graduating seniors.
Sober Graduation is a long-standing tradition in Lassen County, providing a safe, alcohol- and drug-free celebration for seniors on graduation night. The program’s goal is to ensure that students can celebrate their accomplishments in a fun and secure environment while promoting responsible decision-making. Events like this fundraiser help make it possible year after year.
A special thank you goes to Wheels West for graciously hosting the event and allowing the use of their space. Their continued support of local youth and community programs plays a vital role in the success of initiatives like Sober Graduation.
The fundraising efforts are far from over. Up next is the Leaping Leprechaun Poker Run & Shake Your Shamrocks event on March 29, a fun-filled day designed to bring the community together while continuing to raise funds for this important cause. Those interested in participating can purchase tickets at lcoe.org.
For those unable to attend but still wishing to contribute, donations can be made online or in person at various locations around town. Every dollar raised goes directly toward ensuring that Lassen County seniors can celebrate safely on one of the most important nights of their lives.
