Hi there, humans. We’re Miss Piggy and Mr. Spock, a dynamic duo of senior Chihuahuas with stories to tell and love to give.
I’m Miss Piggy (yes, that Miss Piggy), small in size, big in sass, and unapologetically food-obsessed. If there’s a snack within a 10-mile radius, I will find it. I enjoy short walks and curling up under a pile of blankets for long naps.
And I’m Mr. Spock, logical by name, legendary ears by fame. They say I could probably pick up satellite signals with these things. I’m a thinker, a snuggler, and the more refined of the two (someone’s got to keep Miss Piggy in check).
Despite our ‘senior’ status, we’ve still got pep in our step and tails that wag like there’s no tomorrow. We’ve got personality for days and are looking for forever homes where we can retire in style in cozy beds, warm laps, and LOTS of tasty treats would be lovely, thank you very much.
We promise to make you laugh, keep you company, and fill your home with love and little snores. Adopt us (together or separately, we don’t mind either way), and you won’t just gain two dogs — you’ll gain two legends.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
