Lassen County to Host 2nd Annual Veteran Stand Down May 17th

Lassen County Behavioral Health, in collaboration with the Lassen County Veterans Service Office and various veteran-centered agencies, will be hosting its 2nd Annual Veteran Stand Down on Saturday, May 17th, from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at the Lassen County Fairgrounds.

This event aims to create a central space for veterans to access a wide range of resources in one convenient location. The event is open to the public, and veterans, vendors, and community members are encouraged to attend. While registration is not required, those interested can register in advance.

Veterans attending the Stand Down will have access to veteran-specific resources from organizations such as the VA, VBA, and the Vet Center. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their DD214.

For veterans in outlying areas of Lassen County, limited transportation may be available. For more information regarding transportation, please call Lassen County Behavioral Health at 1.530.251.8108.

Those interested in registering for the event can do so by contacting the Lassen County Veterans Service Officer: 1.530.251.8192. Alternatively, online registration is available by following this link.

This is a valuable opportunity for veterans to connect with essential services and for the community to show its support. All are welcome to attend the 2nd Annual Lassen County Veteran Stand Down.
