LYS Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Final Reminder:Lassen Youth Soccer will be holding it’s AGM this Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Richmond Elementary School at 6:00 PM.The following offices (board positions) are up for election: First Vice President, Treasurer, Referee Coordinator, Coaching Coordinator, Team Parent Coordinator, Equipment Coordinator, and Field Coordinator.Any adult age 18 and over is eligible for nomination and election. If you or someone you know is interested in a nomination for any of the afore-mentioned offices on the LYS Board of Directors, please notify the President (Danny Matchniff) at his email address ([email protected]) and attend the AGM.
VOTING: Each team from the Fall 2013 season is entitled to one (1) vote. Each LYS board member is entitled to one (1) vote. Votes are cast by secret ballot. Voting by proxy is not permitted. Voters must be in physical attendance at the meeting.
NOTE: All offices are by volunteer and involve a two-year commitment of service. The children of Lassen County and the betterment of the game for them are to be the focus of the efforts and the time-sacrifices made by the volunteers.
