The Lassen College men’s Basketball team beat Feather River 100-92. The women fell to Feather River 56-66.
During halftime of the women’s game and men’s game 3 student from Shaffer school got to participate in a half court shoot for $100.00. They get one try to make a half court shot to win $100.00. If they don’t make it, they get a LCC Baseball player, to spin around 5 times on a baseball bat then try and make a 3 point shot for $20.00. Then with the remaining time left they get to try and make layups for $1.00 each.
The 3 girls were, Lindsey Canadas, Hannah Canadas and Galilea Gomez. None of the students made the half court shot but, LCC Baseball Player Westin Caindec made the 3 point shot
The 3 boys were, Lucas Whiting, Brad Marshall and John Riedel. None of the students made the half court shot but, LCC Baseball player Justin “Mr. Shortstop” Spinner made his 3 point shot.
