2:15p.m. Update: According to reports from the scene the fire has been extinguished by fire crews who will remain for mop-up.

1:55p.m. Firefighters and emergency personnel are responding to a vegetation fire near Doyle this afternoon. The wind-driven flames are reportedly burning near Foothill Lane on the west side of Highway 395 at the base of Doyle grade.
We’ll have more information on the fire as it becomes available.
