Mark your calendar to attend Lassen County’s 150th Anniversary Celebration that is being coordinated by the Chamber. The event will be held on Friday, September 5, beginning at 6pm, in Memorial Park Susanville. Live music, food, drinks, and no-host bar will be available. The County Anniversary Committee is hard at work preparing for this special celebration and invites the community to join in the celebration. The Annual Lassen County Farm Bureau “Blues and Blues” scholarship fundraiser will be held on August 9, beginning at 5pm, at Every Bloomin’ Thing. Tickets are available at the Chamber office; cost is $30 presale for adults, $15 for under 21 years old. The event will feature a variety of micro-brews, BBQ dinner, and the blues concert. The Business & Career Network has customized business assistance available to Lassen County small businesses. One-on-one counseling, financial & legal counsel, business planning, marketing and loan preparation are some of the many services that are available to assist businesses thru the program. The assistance program will offer services to eligible businesses at all stages of business development and operation.
