Local Lassen High Senior Callie Wemple has signed her letter of intent to attend Jamestown College in North Dakota to play softball. Callie has been in Lassen County her whole life and is looking forward to the challenge of moving so far away from home.
Callie was joined by her family, coaches and close friends for her to sign. It was an emotional time for the Lassen High Senior. Her pitching Coach Ron Jarrell stated that she started her pitching career later than most, but once she started there was no stopping her.
Congratulations Callie, we look forward to following your college softball career.
