The Chamber board will meet on Thursday, April 14, 2016 for the monthly board meeting that will begin at noon, at Diamond Mountain Casino in the hotel conference room. The board encourages member attendance and comment; if you would like to address the board please contact the office staff prior to the board meeting so that you can be added to the agenda.
Mark your calendar to attend the next chamber mixer that will be held on Thursday, April 21st and will be hosted by High Sierra Collision and Towing, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at 1472-635 Johnstonville Rd., Susanville. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend; everyone is welcomed to stop by to mingle with friends and business associates. We hope to see you there.
The Lassen County Chamber of Commerce had representation at last week’s 7th Annual Tourism Summit that was hosted by the Shasta Cascade Wonderland Association in Redding. The summit discussed branding partnerships to promote tourism in our region of California and featured guest presenter, Clay Gregory, of “Visit Napa Valley”, who shared the Napa Valley’s strategies to encourage tourism and how businesses in Napa practice the concept “A Rising Tide Lifts Us All” and how to apply the strategy in our own county.
The annual Spring Home, Garden, and Recreation Show is planned for Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Lassen County Fairgrounds, from 10am to 4pm. The event is always well attended so it is worthwhile to showcase your business at this one day show. Indoor and outdoor 10’x10’ booth spaces are still available, but are filling up quickly, on a first-come- first-served basis.
