Join us at the Oktoberfest mixer that will hosted by NAPA Auto Parts and co-hosted by Lassen Ale Works, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, at NAPA Auto located at 1289 Main Street, Susanville, Thursday, October 6. The mixer will feature Lassen Ale Works beers, delicious sausages and great door prizes. You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend everyone is welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend.
The Annual Rails to Trails Festival will take place this Saturday, October 8, 10am to 4pm, at the Historic Susanville Railroad Depot. There is still time to enter to participate in the chili cook-off, salsa contest, vendor market place, or handcar races. Applications to participate are available by logging on to lassencountychamber.org and clicking on the Rails to Trails icon or contact the Chamber at 257-4323 for more information. This is a fun filled event with something for everyone to enjoy so make plans to bring the entire family for a beautiful fall day and celebrate the rails to trails conversion of the old Southern Pacific Railroad’s Fernley and Lassen branches to what is now the Bizz Johnson Trail.
Susanville Elks Lodge invites everyone to come enjoy Monday Night Football & Taco Night, each Monday. The no-host bar opens at 5:30pm, tacos are served beginning at 6pm. Bring the whole family for tacos and a fun evening of watching football on the big screen at the Susanville Elks Lodge.
Historic Uptown Susanville Association’s Annual Safe n’ Sane Halloween will be held on Monday, October 31st, from 3 to 5pm, in Historic Uptown Susanville. The family fun event will include trick-or-treating for children 12 and younger, costume contest, pet contest, pumpkin carving contest, and the very popular coffin races.
