Join FamilyLitRocks for more learning and fun at their next workshop, ‘Picnic at the Library’ scheduled for Saturday, February 25th from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. at the Lassen library on Main Street.
All parents, grandparents and guardians that have children 5-years and under are welcome to participate.
“Our workshops are geared toward helping adult learners model reading and other pre-kindergarten strategies, making story time fun in creative ways,” explains LassenLitRocks Assistant Coordinator Tori French.
French said participants who are attending and enrolling in the adult literacy program, LassenLitRocks, will receive free books to take home to build their own libraries!
