The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation has announced the appointment of Suzanne Peery as warden at the California Correctional Center, where she has been acting warden since 2016.
According to a press release from CDCR, Peery has served in several positions at High Desert State Prison from 2006 to 2016, including acting warden, chief deputy warden, associate warden, correctional business manager and staff services manager.
She served in several positions at the California Correctional Center from 1988 to 2006, including procurement and services officer, business services officer, staff services analyst, personnel services specialist and office assistant.
