The 2017 edition of the Historic Uptown Susanville Association’s big Safe and Sane Halloween event was once again a huge success – drawing a crowd of trick-or-treaters to the party on Susanville’s Main Street for candy, live entertainment, costume contests and coffin races.
The annual event, which is co-sponsored by the City of Susanville, is designed to give Susanville kids a safe place to trick or treat.
Local businesses, civic groups, government agencies and organizations built and raced homemade coffins through uptown.
