The Susanville Police Department will host the first quarterly meeting of all Neighborhood Watch organizations in the city on January 24th, at 6:00p.m. in the Susanville Senior Center.
“The main purpose of the Neighborhood Watch program,” explains Police Chief Kevin Jones, “is to collaborate with our citizens to have a safer community.”
Chief Jones will be addressing crime trends in the city, how to start a new watch group and the vision and future of the Susanville Police Department.
“Anyone is welcome to attend,” said Jones. “If you are interested in starting a group or becoming part of a group, there will be many resources of information to you you involved. I look forward to seeing you there!”
