The California Department of Transportation continues with its Main Street renovation project this week, with work planned from today through Friday from 8:00p.m. until 8:00a.m.
According to this week’s update from Caltrans crews spent last week conforming utility lids to the finished paved surface and installed signs and light fixtures. Striping, which was set to begin last week was delayed because of the weather.
This week crews are scheduled to install signs and handrails at various locations, finish more manhole/water valve lids and complete side street paving.
Final striping will begin this week.
There will also be daytime electrical work requiring no traffic control or lane closures.
Between 8:00p.m. and 8:00a.m. each day there is the possibility of some lane closures with only minimal delays.
