Lassen Ale Works and Bottle & Brush Art Bar are teaming up to present another in their series of Brush Off competitions this Saturday, November 16th, raising funds for Friends of the Library with an afternoon of music and painting. The Brush Off live art event features six local artists, each creating an outdoor, wildlife or landscape-themed masterpiece within a 90-minute time limit.
Artists at Saturday’s Brush Off include Therese Fowler Bailey, Randle Panfilio, Bryan Haynes, David Holsey, Donna Mills and Robin Wanles.
Attendees will be able to watch the artists work and then vote for a ‘Viewer’s Choice’ award. Looking for a nifty Christmas gift? When the masterpieces are complete you can bid to take one of them home.
Each $15 ticket gets you a glass of wine, beer or soda and a vote for the painting you like most. Additional Viewer’s Choice voting tickets are $1 each and all proceeds go to Friends of the Library.
Doors open at 2:00 and as soon as the artists are finished painting the silent auction will be held and the winner of the Viewer’s Choice award will be announced.
