The Westwood Area Chamber of Commerce will be teaming up with American Express to host a Small Business Saturday celebration in Westwood this Saturday, November 30th.
Now in its 10th year, Small Business Saturday continues to be an annual holiday shopping tradition — helping to support small businesses and promoting more vibrant communities.
Supporting small businesses is more important than ever. We all have favorite small businesses we can’t imagine living without. However, fewer small businesses are opening and staying open. To be successful requires an abundance of grit, passion and determination.
In Westwood businesses will be celebrating with amazing deals along with a special ‘pop up’ market on Birch Street all the way from Mom’s old Mill down to Blue Ox Coffee.
The Chamber will have a Welcome Table set up on Birch Street with beverages, pastries and reusable cloth bags for shopping.
“We have many individual small businesses participating,” explains Chamber President Lana Beal. “All of our brick and mortar small businesses will also have reusable cloth bags for giving out when they are patronized.”
Westwood’s Shop Small Saturday event will be held between 11:00a.m. and 3:00p.m.
