Motor Trip in Snowstorm
Susanville Editor and Business Man Declare Home Regions Are Bustling
April 28, 1912

F.C. Sefton, editor of the Susanville Mail, and Geo. N. McDow, president of the Lassen Abstract company, motored to Reno yesterday in the automobile of the Susanville newspaper man. When the machine left Susanville yesterday morning the snow was falling and the travelers were accompanied by the snow storm throughout the day, arriving in Reno shortly after 3 o’clock.

Lassen county is fast coming to the front, according to Mr. Sefton, and both mining and agricultural interests are on the up grade. New arrivals are to be noted daily and he predicted that the present summer will witness great activity in his home regions.

The visitors will leave this morning in the editorial buzz wagon for the return trip to Susanville.
