Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Tessa

Update: Tessa has been adopted!

Who’s in the market for a fabulous barn cat?

Tessa is a year old domestic medium hair feline with an ATTITUDE. She’s got a hunter’s spirit and is ready to find her new forever home on a nice piece of property. This pretty girl has been a wonderful, protective mother during her stay here and even fostered an additional kitten that was in need.

Tessa is up to date on her rabies vaccination, leukemia tested negative, and she’s spayed with her ear clipped to make it easy to tell that she’s been altered. Please call us at the shelter with questions and inquiries, 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
