Two Men Arrested for Auto Parts Store Burglary

Two Susanville men were arrested Wednesday for a burglary at Napa Auto Parts on Main Street in Susanville after police investigators identified them on video surveillance.

According to details released by the department an observant officer spotted an air compressor near Paiute Creek. The officer contacted Napa Auto Parts employees and learned that somebody had committed a burglary the night prior.

Police say that after a review of the security camera video footage they were able to identify the two suspects in the crime as Dakota Rubel and David Martinez-Moreno.

Based on an investigation both Rubel and Martinez-Moreno were arrested on Saturday, July 11th, for burglary and conspiracy.

Both men are currently incarcerated at the Lassen County Jail and are being held on $30,000 bail.
