Due to heavy smoke and poor air quality, Honey Lake Valley Recreation Authority Executive Officer Kevin Jones announced that the Community Pool on South Street will be closed today because of heavy smoke and poor air quality.
The valley is filled with smoke this morning from the Hog fire.
Jones said that daily updates will be provided each morning on the status of reopening.
