Eagle Lake Level 21 Inches Lower Than This Time Last Year

Lassen National Forest has announced disappointing results from an August 3rd check of Eagle Lake’s water level. The results show that the lake has dropped 0.42 ft. (5.04 in.) over the past month.

This puts the current elevation at 5094.60 ft. as measured at the new boat ramp at Gallatin.

The lake level is currently 1.77 ft. (21.24 in.) below where it was one year ago at this time.
