Forecasters at the National Weather Service office in Reno have issued a Winter Weather Advisory warning Lassen County residents to expect snow accumulations of up to 3 inches here in the valley between 7:00p.m. Saturday and 10:00a.m. Sunday.
While total snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches are expected from Susanville southward, local amounts up to 6 inches are possible in the surrounding mountains.
Plan on slippery road conditions and poor visibility with periods of moderate to heavy snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.
