Firefighters from Susan River Fire District and the City of Susanville will be holding a Drive-Thru ‘Fill the Boot’ fundraiser for Jenni Uruburu and the Uruburu family this Saturday, February 27th.
Uruburu, who is a huge part of this community, was diagnosed with stage 4 Uterine cancer on February 4th.
Organizers of the event say that the last thing Jenni needs to worry about is her medical expenses.
“Let’s show Jenni and the whole Uruburu family how much she means to this community by showing our love and support!”
The firefighters will be taking donations at the Fire Hall on Main Street and at the Johnstonville Fire Station from 10:00a.m. until 3:00p.m.
Donations may also be made to the Jennifer Uruburu fundraising account at Golden 1 Credit Union in Susanville.
