Lassen Community College, in partnership with Lassen-Modoc Adult Education Consortium, will present a series of free, three-week classes beginning March 15th that will allow students to earn a certificate as an IT Support Specialist.
The five, non-credit classes are; IT Technical Support Fundamentals, which starts March 15th and runs until April 2nd; Computer Networking from April 5th to April 25th; Operating Systems from April 26th through May 14th; System Administration and IT Infrastructure from May 17th to June 4th and Security, June 7th until June 25th.
Each three-week class is 10 hours per week.
Google certification is included with completion of all five classes. Additionally, you will be prepared to take the CompTIA A+ certification.
Students will need access to a computer, laptop or Chromebook for these classes. LCC has Chromebooks available to loan students if needed.
