The Susanville Police Department is actively searching for 19-year old Susanville resident Matthew Brown, who goes by the name “Ash.”
He was dropped off at Susanville Ranch Park on Friday morning and has not been seen since. He was reported missing on Saturday afternoon.
“Brown had been staying in a local motel in Susanville prior to his disappearance,” explains Susanville Police Chief Kevin Jones. “Information received indicates Brown is voluntarily missing, however there is a concern for his well-being.”
At the time he was dropped off Brown was possibly wearing a dark grey hoodie, black shoes, black or dark blue backpack and a sleeping bag or multicolor quilt.
The Lassen Co. Sheriff’s Office is also actively searching for Brown in the area surrounding his last known location.
Brown is described as 6-foot tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
