Who out there is a lab lover? Angie is the girl for you.
Angie is a 7 month old sweetheart of a dog with puppy energy abound once she settles into her environment. She’s very timid and scared in the kennels, but becomes another dog once you’ve gained her trust and brought outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Staff recommends potential adopters to visit with dogs outside of the loud kennels to get a better feel for their personalities and temperaments. Interested adopters should be aware that Angie was recently adopted and returned to the shelter because she didn’t like her new Boston Terrier siblings. Further evaluations will be done by staff to see if Angie prefers doggy friends around the same size as her. Until more testing is done, staff feels that her new home should be free of small dogs, cats, and young children.
Angie is spayed, fully vaccinated, and heartworm tested negative. She can go home today! If interested in meeting Angie, come on down to the Lassen County Animal Shelter for a visit. Questions and inquires can be answered by staff at (530) 257-9200.
Additional: If there are dogs already in the home, it is suggested that potential adopters bring them to the shelter to do a meet and greet with the new dog.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
