Adopt A Pet from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Jack

Jack is a cat that checks all the boxes. He’s friendly, loveable, outgoing, playful, and very handsome.

Jack, or Crinkles (due to the appearance of his right ear), has had a rough go lately and was found at the Bass Hill Landfill by a caring and concerned employee. As soon as he arrived at the Lassen County Animal Shelter he stole the hearts of all of the shelter staff. This guy LOVES cuddles and purrs over everything. He lays down, he purrs. He eats, he purrs. You look at him, he purrs. Jack is truly a wonderful kitty and will make a fabulous addition to most any household.

This sweet boy is ready to go to a new home and has been fully vetted. Jack is estimated to be about 5 months old, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and leukemia tested negative. If interested in meeting Jack, or other adoptable animals at the shelter, please call Lassen County Animal Shelter staff at (530) 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
