Introducing Mici!
Mr. Mici is so very handsome and draws a lot of ‘ooohs’ and ‘ahhhs’ from visitors. Yes, staff agrees that he’s a looker, however this sweet boy is going to need a home with an experienced dog owner. Someone who has the time to put into not only getting Mici adequate daily exercise, but to first gain his trust and then focus on helping him gain some much needed confidence.
This boy is TOY CRAZY. Once he knows and trusts you, he will fetch and bring back whatever toy you feel like throwing for him. Over and over again. He’s intense and athletic, ready to learn and grow under the guidance of a suitable adopter. Evaluations still need to be done to see how Mici gets along with other shelter dogs. Due to his initial timid and uncertain nature, staff recommends children in his perspective home to be respectful and 13+.
Mici estimated to be about 2 years old. He’s neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped. If interested in meeting Mici, or other adoptable animals, please contact the Lassen County Animal Shelter at (530) 257-9200.
Additional: If there are dogs already in the home, it is suggested that potential adopters bring them to the shelter to do a meet and greet with the new dog.
