Sweet little Jake has been patiently waiting to meet his new forever family. This guy has it all; spunk, optimism, and a strong desire to make friends and play.
Jake is a recent surrender at the Lassen County Animal Shelter and he’s SO VERY ready to get back to the cozy home life. This guy is still young, estimated to be about 6 months old, and gets along with other dogs and cats. He’ll need a family ready to put in some work with teaching him basic manners; he has a habit of jumping up. However, he LOVES to run and play and jump and would make a wonderful addition to an active household. If there’s another dog already in the home, staff recommends they attend a meet and greet with the shelter dog to ensure a good match.
If interested in meeting Jake, or other adoptable animals, please call the shelter at (530) 257-9200. Jake is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and heartworm tested negative.
In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Lassen County Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23rd and Friday, Nov. 24th. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 27th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis.
