The staff at the Lassen Animal Shelter say it’s turkey season, and it just so happens that they have a handsome silver turkey, Waddles, looking for the right family to call his own.

Additionally, the Lassen County Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
The shelter will return to regular business hours on Monday, December 2nd.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
