Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Mocha

UPDATE: Mocha has been transferred to a rescue

Lassen County Animal Shelter – Mocha

Mocha came to the Lassen County Animal Shelter as an owner surrender. Sadly her family could not take her with them on a move out of state. She’s a spayed lab/boxer cross and about four years old.

She would love to find her new forever family. Her ideal home needs to be without cats or other small animals. It’s hard and stressful going from a home situation into a shelter kennel. So, staff hopes to make Mocha’s stay a short one. She’s big, sweet, and always in the mood for attention or hanging out with people.

Questions and inquiries can be answered by calling the Lassen County Animal Shelter at (530) 257-9200. More photos can be seen of Mocha on Petfinder.com.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
