UPDATE: Sadie has been adopted
Sadie is a new friendly face at the Lassen County Animal Shelter and she is in search of her forever home.
Staff is still getting to know this big girl, but there’s a consensus that she’s a laid back sweetheart. Sadie is perfectly content relaxing outside in the fresh air and basking in whatever pets and love people are willing to shower her with. She’s like a big teddy bear.
According to her previous owner, Sadie has lived with children and can be picky when it comes to doggie friends, so a home where she is the only dog would be the ideal situation for her.
Sadie is a pretty Bullmastiff about 7 years old, spayed, microchipped, and hoping to make her stay at the shelter a short one. If interested in Sadie or other adoptable animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter, please call (530) 257-9200. Additional pictures and video of Sadie can be seen on petfinder.com.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.
Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
