Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Tobias

UPDATE: Tobias has been transferred to the Pups on Parole program.

Meet Tobias! He is one cute, compact guy. This cattle dog mix, estimated to be about a year old, is shy and uncertain of new faces. His new person must be very patient and understanding of his insecurities. Tobias needs someone to expose him to the wonders of the world and be right there to support him along the way.

Once his shyness wears off, he is all happy puppy and wants to cuddle and sit in your lap. He’d make a wonderful travel companion or trucker dog. Toby has gotten along with other dogs at the shelter and he loves going on walks.

He’s current on vaccinations, neutered, and ready to find his forever home! For more information on Tobias, please call Lassen County Animal Shelter at 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
