Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Zeke

UPDATE: Zeke has been adopted.

Meet Zeke!

This handsome fellow came to the Lassen County Animal Shelter as a stray and is now craving a new home to call his own. He’s the vocal kind of dog with a lot to say, though once he gets his pent-up energy out he can easily enjoy the company of his person and lounge. Zeke is young and would love to find a family that will show him all the fun things the world has to offer.

He’s a cuddler, has a super cute curly tail, doesn’t mind the resident shelter cats, and hasn’t had any issues with the dogs he’s met during his stay. Zeke could use a refresher in basic commands, but he’s eager to please and shouldn’t have any trouble learning some new tricks with consistent training.

Zeke will be at the vet Monday, August 30th. He’ll be neutered, heartworm tested, and brought up to date on his vaccinations. If interested in meeting this sweetheart or other adoptable animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter, please call staff at 257-9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
