The Lassen County Farm Bureau and Every Bloomin’ Thing Nursery are teaming up once again to bring microbrew and blues to Lassen County on August 8th from 5:00 to 8:00p.m. for their sixth annual Blues and Brews Festival scholarship fundraiser.
At the Farm Bureau’s annual scholarship fundraiser you can enjoy a tasty sip of hand-crafted beer, the sweet sounds of blues and tri-tip – all in the relaxing atmosphere of Every Bloomin’ Thing nursery.
Dance the summer evening away with the sounds of two great bands; the Blues Rollers from Reno and Six Mile Station.
Proceeds from the Blues and Brews event help support local youth pursuing careers in agriculture. Additionally some of the proceeds help fund agricultural education.
Tickets can be purchased at Every Bloomin’ Thing in Susanville and Chester and at Lassen Ale Works. Pre-sale tickets are $30 and include unlimited microbrew tasting, a mug, tri-tip dinner, and blues entertainment. Admission for the under-21 crowd is only $15. Bring your lawn chairs!
