As part of the 65th annual National Day of Prayer this Thursday, the Church of the Nazarene, Susanville Assembly of God and other local churches are working together to feature the California Baptist University’s Women’s Choir in concert. The performance is scheduled for May 5 at 7:00 pm at the Susanville Assembly of God church 473-465 Richmond Road.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
